St Clydwell Plaza is bursting at the seams with the amount of people gathered today to celebrate. The fourth crusade may be stalled but the fire in the hearts of men has not cooled. Armasse could not have come at a better time. The celebration appears to be a great boost to the morale of the people of Kenabres.
Among the crowd this day is an elderly woman. Her appearance is kind, along with her mannerisms. She is ever ready with a nice comment or a quick blessing for those she passes.
As the elderly woman passes the halfling named Tumble, she looks down upon the young man and exclaims, “My, my, so much fire in your soul for one so small. Never fear little one, you will find that which you seek.” The woman continues on her path through the crowd.
Not far from Tumble, was man in his late 20’s named Asher. Asher appeared a bit somber on this day, as if he was thinking of the distant past. “Young man, most often you will find what you are looking for in the future. Look forward and do not let your past trouble you.” As the woman moved on, Asher had something else to think about.
A small while later, yet still before the Lord of the city gave the blessings of the festival, the woman sat down next to a young female halfling. “What is your name child?” “Mirabella.,” was the reply. “Ahh, Mirabella. Such a pretty name. Its makes me think of flowers blossoming in Spring. Your time to blossom will come.”
The old woman stood and continued her way through the crowd. Always with a thoughtful or kind word for those she passed. If someone were looking for the woman it wouldnt be hard to find her, just follow the trail of smiling, happy faces in the merry crowd on the day of Armasse.
